Microscopic description of quadrupole-octupole coupling in neutron-rich actinides and superheavy nuclei with the Gogny-D1M energy density functional

چکیده

The interplay between quadrupole and octupole degrees of freedom is discussed in a series neutron-rich actinides superheavy nuclei with $92 \le$ Z $\le 110$ $186 N 202$. In addition to the static Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approach, dynamical beyond-mean-field correlations are taken into account via both parity restoration symmetry-conserving Generator Coordinate Method calculations based on Gogny-D1M energy density functional. Physical properties such as correlation energies, negative-parity excitation energies well reduced transition probabilities $B(E1)$ $B(E3)$ detail. It shown that, for studied nuclei, quadrupole-octupole coupling weak large extent negative states can be reasonably described terms degree alone.

Systematics of one - quasiparticle configurations in neutron - rich odd Sr , Zr , and Mo isotopes with the Gogny energy density functional

The systematics of one-quasiparticle configurations in neutron-rich Sr, Zr, and Mo odd isotopes is studied within the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov plus equal filling approximation method preserving both axial and time-reversal symmetries. Calculations based on the Gogny energy density functional with both the standard D1S parametrization and the new D1M incarnation of this functional are included in...

Density functional explorations of quadrupole coupling constants for BN, BP, AlN, and AlP graphene–like structures

Stabilizations and atomic level quadrupole coupling constant (CQ) properties have been investigated for graphene–like monolayers (G–monolayers) of boron nitride (BN), boron phosphide (BP), aluminum nitride (AlN), and aluminum phosphide (AlP) structures. To this aim, density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been performed to optimize the model structures and also to evaluate the CQ para...

Description of the Nuclear Octupole and Quadrupole Deformation

A parametrization of octupole plus quadrupole deformation, in terms of intrinsic variables defined in the rest frame of the overall tensor of inertia, is presented and discussed. The model is valid for situations close to the axial symmetry, but non axial deformation parameters are not frozen to zero. The properties of the octupole excitations in the deformed Thorium isotopes Th, Th are interpr...
